West Winder Bypass

From CR 325/Matthews School Rd to SR 211-Phase 1 Phase 1 (PI #0006327), West Winder Phase 1 begins at Mile Post 2.71 (MP 2.71), on Patrick Mill Rd just south of CR 325/Matthes School Rd, then crosses CR 325/Matthes School Rd. The project continues on Patrick Mill Rd to SR 8 where a bridge will be constructed over SR 8, the CSX RR tracks, and Bankhead Highway. On new alignment beginning at the north side of the bridge, the WW Bypass continues in a northeasterly direction and then an east to the southeasterly direction where it crosses Pearl Pentecost Rd to MP 5.64. #0010554) begins at Mile Post 1.04 on Patrick Mill Rd. Crosses Carl Bethlehem RD and ends at MP 2.71. Phase 3 ( PI #0010555) is the construction of an interchange at SR 316. The bypass comes off of Patrick Mill Rd onto new alignment crossing Tom Miller Rd. The existing Tom Miller Rd will have a cul-de-sac on each side of West Winder Bypass. A new Tom Miller Road will be constructed to intersect with the new alignment of the West Winder Bypass. West Winder Bypass will have an entrance and an exit ramp on the south and North sides of SR 316. A bridge (overpass) over SR 316 will be constructed. The West Winder Bypass will continue to MP 1.04 where the bypass will again be on Patrick Mill Rd.
