The proposed design for the U.S. Route 61/67 and St. Johns Church Road intersection includes:
– Installing a four-way traffic signal
– Adding a right-turn lane to southbound 61/67 north of the intersection
– Adding a left-turn lane to St. Johns Church Road and striping Linderhof Drive for thru and left-turn lanes
– Resurfacing Route 61/67 within the project limits
– Adding sidewalks and crosswalks to meet ADA standards
The proposed design for the intersection of U.S. Route 61/67 and Miller Road East includes:
– Realigning Miller Road East to align with the strip mall entrance
– Widening Miller Road East for two thru lanes and a turning lane
– Installing a four-way traffic signal
– Widening both directions of Route 61/67 to include turn lanes
– Adding a right-turn lane on southbound Route 61/67 north of Miller Road East
– Installing a pedestrian crossing south of Miller Road East, between Pleasant View Motel and the strip mall
– Resurfacing Route 61/67 within the project limits
– Adding pedestrian crosswalks at the strip mall entrance
