Project highlights:
– Construct a new interchange at U.S. Route 60 and Webster County Route A.
– Build a bridge over Route 60 and the BNSF Railroad.
– Connect Route NN to the new Route A interchange.
– Add a roundabout at the new Route NN/Route A intersection.
– Build a south Outer Road from Route Z in Fordland to Route A in Diggins along the south side of the BNSF Railroad.
– Remove 9 railroad crossings at locations including Route NN, Greenbriar Drive, Honor Camp Lane, Tandy Road, Hummingbird Lane, Bluebird Lane, and 3 private drives.
– Eliminate 9 highway intersections/private accesses on Route 60, including Route A, NN, Route O (right-in, right-out only), Bluebird Lane, Hummingbird Lane (south side), Honor Camp Lane (south side), Greenbriar Drive, and two private accesses.
– The estimated project cost for the Route A interchange and the new Outer Road is $28.4 million.
