Project Overview
Project Details
The Missouri Department of Transportation is resurfacing Route 21 from Gravois to the Meramec River starting in late 2023, updating pedestrian facilities to ADA standards. This includes replacing the raised shoulder with proper sidewalks, adding new crosswalks, removing others, and installing updated pedestrian signals. The project also includes bridge maintenance over Gravois Creek and Grant’s Trail.
The department is coordinating with Metro to ensure suitable pedestrian crossings are provided at bus stops along the corridor.
