Project Highlights:

Route MM Widening: Expand to 4 lanes from U.S. Route 60 to Haile Street.
Roundabout: New roundabout at Route MM (Brookline Ave) and Farm Road 160.
Median: Install 8″ raised concrete median from Route 60 to Haile Street, with breaks at Stone Falls Rd/Commercial St. intersection.
Bridge Construction: Build a bridge over BNSF Railroad south of Haile Street.
New Route MM: Construct a new section of Route MM between Farm Road 160 and Route 60.
Intersection Changes: Remove U.S. Route 60 intersection at Commercial Ave/Farm Rd 103.
Road Closures: Farm Road 164 west of Route 60 will be closed.
Intersection Expansion: Expand Route 60 & Stone Creek Drive intersection, connecting it to new Route MM.
Railroad Crossing Closures: Close crossings at Route 60 & Farm Road 170, Route MM & Farm Road 168, and East Haile St/Orr St in Brookline.
Pedestrian Access: Add a trail along the eastern side of new Route MM from Route 60 to a pedestrian underpass east of the future bridge, with sidewalk and pedestrian improvements from Route 60 to Haile Street.

Expected Traffic Impacts During Construction:

Route MM at Farm Road 160: Will remain open during most of the project but may have intermittent closures.
Lane Closures: Expect lane closures on Route 60 near the existing Commercial Ave/Farm Rd 103 intersection.
Permanent Closures: The intersection at Route 60 and Commercial Ave/Farm Rd 103, as well as Farm Road 164 west of Route 60, will be permanently closed following project completion.
Railroad Crossing Closures: Crossings at Route 60 & Farm Road 170, Route MM & Farm Road 168, and East Haile St/Orr St in Brookline will be closed.
