Project Details
SEMCO Energy Gas Company proposes to construct a 42-mile pipeline in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. SEMCO is currently waiting on regulatory approval for the project. The project plans to follow an existing utility corridor for much of the route, and the project will use both a 20″ and a 10″ pipeline in different areas.
SEMCO plans to build a 20-inch diameter natural gas pipeline in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The 42-mile pipeline will connect the Northern Natural Gas Transmission pipeline with the Great Lake Natural Gas Transmission pipeline in an effort to improve reliability of service in the area. The project is planned to run mostly next to existing utility easements.
