Project Overview
Project Details
The Mid-States Corridor Project proposes a new highway connection in southern Indiana, following US 231 from I-64 to I-69 near Jasper. This project impacts many landowners as it aims to enhance regional transportation and economic development.
The Tier 1 Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) identified a 2,000-foot-wide study area east of Huntingburg and Jasper. Section 2, or SIU 2, stretches from I-64 around Huntingburg and Jasper to S.R. 56 at Haysville. The study of Section 2 is projected to take three years, during which potential routes will be narrowed, and property impacts will become clearer.
As eminent domain lawyers, we help landowners understand their rights as this process unfolds. Whether negotiating fair compensation or challenging route decisions, we’re here to ensure you’re fully informed and protected.
