Project Details
ITC Michigan is dedicated to providing safe, reliable electricity transmission service. As part of Tranche 1 of the Long-Range Transmission Plan (LRTP), ITC will build the Michigan portion of the new Helix-Hiple transmission line, spanning about 50 miles from the Michigan/Indiana border in Branch County to the new Helix Substation in Calhoun County. This will be the first new interstate connection to Michigan’s transmission system in nearly 50 years.
