Project Details
Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois (ATXI), the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission (MJMEUC), and Ameren Missouri are partnering to enhance grid reliability through the Northern Missouri Grid Transformation Program—a two-phase effort delivering over 255 miles of new 345 kV transmission lines. Phase 1 includes the Fairport-Denny-Iowa/Missouri Border (FDIM) and Maywood-Mississippi River Crossing (MMRX) projects, adding about 53 miles of new line and a substation in Worth, Gentry, DeKalb, and Marion counties. Phase 2 features the Denny-Zachary-Thomas Hill-Maywood (DZTM) project, with over 200 miles of transmission lines and substation upgrades across ten northern Missouri counties.
