It includes improving the U.S. 17 and Market Street Corridors in Pender and Hanover Counties, extending Military Cutoff Road in Wilmington from Market to U.S. 17 and building a bypass around Hampstead.
This massive project will affect 125 parcels of land. NCDOT has allocated approximately 30 million dollars for land acquisition. Right of way is planned for 2018 through 2020.
