Condo owners faced with the prospect of the massive Circle Interchange project effectively in their backyard are vocalizing their concerns over the project.
“It would basically render our building uninhabitable and all of our investments worthless,” said David Lews, board president of the Green Street Lofts at 400 S. Green St.
The Interchange, which will revamp the intersection of the Dan Ryan, the Kennedy, the Eisenhower Expressway and Congress Parkway, is expected to have a huge impact on local landowners, who may either have their land acquired or severely impacted. In either event, the landowner has a cause of action against IDOT for the damage done.
Sever Walker Padgitt will be hosting an information seminar on the Circle Interchange on April 22, 2013 at 6 pm at the following location:
Roosevelt Library Chicago
1101 W Taylor St
Chicago, IL
