The Illinois Tollway issued a record breaking $180 million in construction contracts Wednesday–with the bulk of the contracts most going toward the I-90 widening and reconstruction project. The Jane Addams Memorial Tollway is set to be reconstructed for the first time in its 54-year history.

The array of projects is part of the agency’s $12 billion highway program called Move Illinois, fueled by the near-doubling of tolls that went into effect Jan. 1, 2012.
