Illinois State Officials Sign Off on Specific Elgin-O’Hare Western Access Route
IDOT officials gave approval to a specific route for the anticipated Elgin-O’Hare Western Access Route last week, paving the way for the 10-figure project going forward.
State officials are still waiting on federal approval, expected sometime in late December, for the project but if that approval is granted, land acquisition could begin as early as the beginning of 2013.
