One family in Will County is not going to lay down.
The Barbour family will ask a Will County Judge today to schedule a hearing to hear objections to the State’s acquisition of their property for the proposed South Suburban Airport.
IDOT filed a lawsuit to acquire the Barbours’ land by eminent domain for the anticipated airport.
As it stands, the airport is still “planned;” its plans were submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration last month. Because of its uncertain future, the Barbours will argue that acquiring their property is premature and, potentially, completely unnecessary.
If you are in the anticipated swath of land that the SSA must acquire for the airport, please contact our office at any time at 1-888-318-3761 or visit us on the web at www.landownerattorneys.com.
