The Tier I Environmental Impact Study that determined B-3 to be the preferred alternative route for the controversial Illiana Expressway is now available at local libraries and online at the respective IDOT and INDOT websites.
The highway, dubbed the Illiana Expressway, was narrowed to the B-3 alternative in early 2013 and bookends the highway between Lowell, IN and Wilmington, IL.
