IDOT officials Tuesday held a public meeting to preview and showcase the planned improvement of IL 336 in Macomb, IL.
The northwest bypass would extend Illinois 336 from Route 136 to Route 67 and grading and earthwork will be done. County Highway 14 would be reconstructed just west of Township Road 900 East, and there would be culvert replacements in bridgework along Township Road 950 East, County Highway 20, and Township Road 1100 East.
Land acquisition will defintely be required for the project and City aldermen gave an example of this process later in the evening. Sever Walker Padgitt is already planning a seminar for this project–likely to occur at the end of 2012 or early 2013.
