I-66 Corridor Study to Begin in March

A planned connector between Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Paducah, Ky., spanning 40 to 50 miles of Illinois farmland, will take its first step towards conceptualization this March as the anticipated study of the area will begin.

“It is unbelievably beneficial to many of our local industries and distribution places that ship east out of here, in terms of the cost savings,” said John Mehner, president of the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce, told the Southeast Missourian.
