Eminent domain, aesthetics, and long-term ground damage were the highlights of a recent public meeting regarding the Grain Belt Express Clean Line.
Wayne Wilcox, Eastern District Commissioner, spoke to the crowd regarding the rights to his farm, “I’m not trying to take that away from anybody.”
The crowd replied, “Yes, you are.”
Wilcox went on to explain he is supporting a project that landowners will be “justly” compensated for.
