Sever Storey research suggests that land acquisition in Bourbonnais for the I-57/6000N interchange is underway and offers for land are being extended.
This is a tricky project as it involves several large agricultural parcels, road widening and on/off ramps. Generally when winding roads like on/off ramps are introduced to a farm, it does serious damage to the property that is often not considered in the state’s appraisal.
