The North Central Outerbelt Project involves the improvement of interchanges of Interstate 270 at Ohio 315, US 23, and I-71 north of Columbus.  Portions of the project are already complete, including a Flyover Ramp at I-71 and the widening of the bridge over the CSX railroad near the US 23 Interchange, but there remains a significant portion that has yet to be completed.  Additional phases of the project are actually in the right-of-way acquisition stage currently.

As of late 2012, there have been funding concerns surrounding the project with the remainder of the project possibly being pushed out for up to 20 years.  However, these delays are contingent upon funding remaining to be unavailable.  ODOT just recently moved up the schedule for a number of projects that were delayed in the same manner as the North Central Outerbelt.

The Eminent Domain Attorneys at Sever Walker Padgitt will continue to follow this project and provide updates as we are able.  For more information about us, or if you are involved an condemnation dispute, please contact our office at any time at 1-888-318-3761 or visit us on the web at www.landownerattorneys.com
