GOSHEN — The community will have a chance to listen to updated information and offer input for the U.S. 33 Northern Connector Project in Goshen.
The Northern Connector is a project in which U.S. 33 would be removed from Madison Street and Main Street in downtown Goshen. The Indiana Department of Transportation and Goshen’s engineering department have been working on the project for several years.
The city and INDOT will host an open house at 5 p.m. and a presentation at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at the Goshen High School auditorium, 401 Lincolnway East.
The purpose of the meeting is to update the community on changes made, including the extension of the project on the north end from Main to Third streets and a shift in alignment on the south end of the project near Goshen High School, according to a news release from INDOT.
