Ohio Pipeline Energy Network Issues Environmental Assessment

Texas Eastern Transmission issued its environmental assessment for the Ohio Pipeline Energy Network (OPEN) Pipeline on Friday August 22, 2014. The document details the environmental impacts of the proposed pipeline and now will be reviewed by FERC, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

FERC will make a decision regarding whether to authorize the project by November 20, 2014. In the event that the environment assessment is approved and the project is given the green light, it is likley that landowners will begin to hear from Texas Eastern soon after the decision.

For more information on the project or what to expect as a landowner, please feel free to call Sever Storey at 614-360-2818.
