Hamilton County, Fishers to add roundabouts, lanes to 96th Street

 

Fishers and Hamilton County plan major upgrades to 96th Street over the next three years, including adding roundabouts and making lane improvements.

Mayor Scott Fadness said he wants to ensure that urban decay doesn’t strike the emerging city’s southern border.

“I’m genuinely concerned about the 96th Street corridor, just from the perspective of making sure it stays a vital transportation corridor,” he said. “I think we’ve been guilty of focusing too much on the north and the east, because that’s where new growth happens.”
